I have 20 years of experience as a UK qualified solicitor, both in private practice and in-house. I have extensive experience in the media & entertainment sector including in video games, broadcast media, outdoor advertising and adtech. I qualified as a privacy practitioner (CIPP/E) in 2020 and have specialised in privacy and adtech since then. I have many years of experience working in-house in international businesses (including US).
I am known for bringing clarity to complex legal and privacy matters including advising on cookies and other tracking technologies, assessing lawful bases for complex data processing, analysing controller and processor roles in ambiguous business scenarios and advising on transparency issues within chains of data processing.
My clients value my pragmatic and commercial approach to legal and privacy matters, bringing my many years of experience to successfully balance commercial solutions with legal and compliance requirements.
In addition to my client work, I am also the Chief Operating Officer for Privacy Partnership Law, which means I get to spend about a third of my week working on strategy for the law firm and helping to get stuff done! I love bringing a fresh perspective to our vision and clarity to our goals.
