I am Senior Privacy Counsel and Board Advisor at Privacy Partnership where I bring over 45 years' experience in advising national and international clients on all of their technology, data protection and information security law requirements. I am a recognised legal expert and author in the fields of IT, e-commerce, computer games, media and publishing, data protection, AI, information security and cyber risks. I also have over 35 years’ experience as a Notary Public.

My clients value my commercial and practical advice backed by my legal experience of acting for multinationals and charities in all aspects of data protection, cyber security, AI and digital technologies.

When I’m not helping clients, I am a published author for Butterworths, Bloomsbury, Cosmos, LexisNexis and Wiley. I am also a trainer for PDP, MBL and SAI and a visiting lecturer at St Thomas University in St Paul, Minnesota.

I am Vice President of the Notaries Society, an Industry Commissioner at the UK Data & Marketing Commission, a Past President of the Board of the Society for Corporate Compliance & Ethics and the Health Care Compliance Association and a founder member of the UN Global Pulse Experts Group on Governance of Data and AI.
