I have been working in the field of data protection and privacy since qualification in 2007, working in private practice, in-house and as a consultant with some of the world’s most innovative and disruptive brands, from start-ups to multi-nationals.
I support clients handling day-to-day data protection compliance matters, particularly those within an employment law context including delivering specialist training, drafting policies and handling DSARs.
My clients trust that I will always deliver the most pragmatic and commercial advice, tailoring my approach to their specific business needs and risk appetite and profile in a way that not only meets their compliance obligations but also makes data protection meaningful and accessible to their employees: the right information and training to the right people at the right time delivered in a way that engages and motivates.
When I'm not working as a Privacy Counsel, I am also an executive coach for senior women in the corporate world, I am a speaker and writer on the subjects of female empowerment and the future of the workplace, I am an artist, a mother of three intermittently charming humans and an expert in preparing the perfect cup of tea.
